These are students from music and performing-arts courses who want performance experience. Some will play unpaid for the experience, some for their expenses. If you run a room, a theatre or an open mic and can give someone their first proper gig, this is the list.
How this works
Students listed here are seeking performance experience. Any arrangement made between a student and a venue is solely between those parties. Acts Direct introduces them and is not a party to, and accepts no responsibility for, what is agreed. Venues are responsible for meeting National Minimum Wage legislation and all other employment and health and safety law. Where anything is paid to a student beyond reimbursing their actual out-of-pocket expenses, the venue must satisfy itself that its minimum wage obligations are met.
